In the end we will be the good that you

have always wanted to avoid - CAT

Fri 30th of Jan 5:30pm

Two conceptually linked exhibitions explore the formation of entities that are beyond human.

Linda Dement presents two series of prints derived from AI text generation trained on misfit, queer and outsider literature, that she later bioprinted with cardiac cells during a residency at UTS. Her works probe ideas of ‘xeno’ (alien/stranger), disalienation and a move away from assimilation – revealing something of the new entity’s particular inhuman conglomerate ways.

Alicia King’s suspended installation sits at the intersections of nature, technology and the sublime. Sculptural clusters - organic crystalline formations, created through elemental materials and natural forces - trace networks of connection and unseen forces.

Six Russel Bakes - Queer Run Club
Sat 28th Feb Sat 12pm

See y’all at Six Russel Bakes for either a 5km run or 3km walk, then finishing up with coffee!!

We will always have at least one person running and another walking each week and we ALWAYS have more walkers than runners, but Queer Walk Club doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Our regular routes are fairly flat, the walking group sticks to a strolling pace - it’s more about the yapping anyway!
