New NorFunk #10: INFORMATION
New NorFUNK is returning to its home at the Welcome Swallow Brewery for this HUGE 10th instalment of New NorFUNKs infamously awesome variety of unapologetic and outrageous burlesque, cabaret, drag and pole dancing performances.
New NorFUNK will bring its unseasonal heat to New Norfolk on Saturday, 14th of November, with a massive showcase of 15 performances split into 3 high-energy sets. Expect the best of drag, burlesque, pole dancing, live singing, and cabaret.
Between sets, we have the legendary DJ Nanna T on the decks keeping the tunes rolling and the crowd vibing all night long. The event runs from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM.
The Swallow Kitchen will be open and serving up food until 8:00 PM, so make sure to fuel up early before the late-night festivities hit their peak.
The Welcome Swallow Brewery is a fully accessible venue.
Your experience starts the moment you step onto the Red Electric Rainbow Bus. With our hostess with the mostest, Hera the Fox, ensuring the VIP vibes are high from the getgo, the party starts well before you even reach the brewery. After our completely sold-out show in November, the Rainbow Bus is the only way to arrive in style—spots are limited, so move fast.
The Rainbow Bus is fully accessible with low-floor entry.
This isn’t just a show; it’s a vital fundraiser for TasPride. All proceeds from the night go directly toward the prize pool for Artfully Queer, TasPride's annual LGBTIQA+ community exhibition & arts programme held at the Salamanca Arts Centre.

The Rainbow Bus Experience: Travel & Logistics
Make your journey part of the show. Our goal is to provide a safe, accessible, and seamless way to get back to the city so you can enjoy the night and get home just as easily as if you’d been partying in Hobart.
Departure Times:
• 3:15 PM Hobart: Soundys Park, 321 Argyle Street.
• 3:30 PM Glenorchy: City Exchange Bus Stop, 601 Brooker Highway (Easy parking and access from Fleming St).
Return Journey:
• 10:05 PM Departure: The bus disembarks directly from the Welcome Swallow Brewery.
• 10:30 PM Glenorchy Drop-off: Outside MyState Arena.
• 10:45 PM Hobart Drop-off: 321 Argyle Street.
Note: Bus tickets are a dedicated add-on and must be booked in advance to secure your seat.
