Welcome to the 2023 TasPride Festival Parade and Party in the Park.
​
​
Parade Details:
-
The marshalling point for the Parade is on the corner of Elizabeth and Patrick Streets, Hobart.
-
Marshalling commences at 12 noon. All participants must be in the marshalling area by 12.45pm for a safety briefing.
-
We will then sashay our way through Hobart along Elizabeth, Liverpool and Murray Streets, finishing with Party in the Park at Franklin Square.

Parade starts at 1:00pm sharp
Registration:
-
We require everyone to register so we can place groups and individuals into the various march spots.
-
For group registration please click the "Group" button. For Individuals please click the "Individual" button.

For those wishing to apply for a stall please click the "Expression of Interest" button.

2023 Annual Flag Raising Ceremony

The unfurling will commence at 12:30pm followed by speeches and refreshments in the Lord Mayor’s Court.

Come and join us with your friends at the beautiful Rosny Barn on the Eastern shore and celebrate the opening of another fantastic TasPride Festival.
Enjoy the grazing table, with drinks for purchase at the bar, including a few very queer themes designer cocktails fust for the occasion.
With live music from Twisted Scissors, the festive cocktail ambience is waiting for you.

Our volunteers will be supporting TasPride and the LGBTQIA+ community across the state through our 14 patrolled beaches.

This is our 11th Cake bake-off in remembrance of Chris Jackman, hosted by the Farmgate market. This competition was hotly contested last year. Will this be your year to be named Tasmania’s best Queer Baker?
Prize Categories are Grand Prize Winner, Best Incorporation of the Festival Theme (Tasmania Transforms) and Young Persons Prize. All Prizes generously donated by Farmgate Market and TasPride
All cakes will be shared with the LGBTIQ+ and Market Patrons for a gold coin donation. All funds raised go to Working It Out.

Our 'hostess' Miz Ima Starr and 'most-est' DJ Twingon will be acting as your cruise directors, curating fun, games, tunes and cameo performances from some very special guests.
Hearty canapes and jolly shipboard fun are all included in your ticket price, and our craft has a well-stocked cash and card bar to suit every taste.
