Being a TasPride (GLC Centre Inc.) member is about more than just discounts to events year-round – although that IS a pretty special perk, considering that those discounts equal over double the membership fee each year!

It is really about supporting and connecting with other people who are dedicated to celebrating, uniting and promoting the GLBTIQ community in Tasmania. And you don't have to be Queer to join - we also welcome our very special 'Friends of TasPride' with open arms.

TasPride members are kept up-to-date with the bi-monthly TasPride Bulletin newsletter, delivered exclusively to members by post or e-bulletin. Each issue is packed with the latest GLBTIQ news, information, and articles.

As a member, you are also first to hear about upcoming events, ticket releases and special announcements through email alert and via this website.

We also try our best to make members feel that little bit extra special at our events - with dedicated spaces, member-only prize draws and anything else we can think of to show our appreciation for your support.

Great value

If you come to just three of the TasPride Signature Events - such as Halloween Party, Queer Quizz Nite and the Film Festival - you will have already made the money back on your membership. Now that's value. Come on, you can admit it!

Memberships are for the financial year, so if you become a member for the 2010 TasPride Festival, it will cover you for the 2011 Mardi Gras Float Project and the 2011 Queens Ball as well.
