Tasmanian Mardi Gras float terms & conditions

Participating in the 2009 Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade requires our float to comply with the guidelines outlined in the 2009 Parade Entry Kit (PDF 1.1MB).

The following terms, conditions and regulations effect individuals participating in the Parade and any other activities associated with the Tasmanian entry that is being organised by the GLC Centre Inc / TasPride.

1. This entry is designed to show support for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Community;
2. Each participant in this float is aware that their image may be photographed or recorded by electronic means at any time and that by participating, they agree to their image being used for any purpose without further consent;
3. The entry will comply with any New Mardi Gras regulations regarding privacy issues;
4. If the Parade does not proceed for any reason, any entry fees paid are not refundable;
5. The GLC Centre Inc or New Mardi Gras assumes no responsibility for any claims that may arise as a result of our group or
   individual participating in the Parade;
6. Intoxicated individuals on the Parade Route will not be permitted to participate in the Parade; and,
7. I agree to be bound by the conditions of entry and that I will follow the instructions of Parade Officials and Authorities at all times.
