Brian Morris - committee

Brian comes from a medical background being a medical practitioner for the past 15 years or so and in the past has also been involved in community services work in the areas of suicide counselling, sexual assault, drug & alcohol as well as homeless street kids. In addition, he has been involved in humanitarian third-world volunteer work in Africa.

Currently he is employed as the MAN2MAN Program Coordinator at the Tasmanian AIDS & Hepatitis Council for the last 2-3 years working for the health & wellbeing of same sex attracted men. He has been involved with TasPride for the last 2 years to assist representing the health & wellbeing of the Tasmanian GLBTIQ community.

He brings his experience in the health sector, outreach work plus social marketing areas to the committee. Brian currently sits on the Marketing, Launceston TasPride Festival, TasPride Festival Picnic Day & Halloween Ball subcommittees.
