Tasmanian Gay and Lesbian Rights Group stall at Salamanca MarketTGLRG Stall, Stall 142, Salamanca Market Place 8am-3pm. Saturday 29th October 2011 and Saturday 5th November 2011, (look for the rainbow banner closest to Lifestyle Furniture and Irish Murphys).
In 1988, 130 gay and lesbian-rights campaigners were arrested at the Tasmanian Gay Law Reform stall at Salamanca Market. The stall provided the LGBTIQ community with a space to be out and proud whilst challenging the negative stereotypes about us. Visit the historic site where the Tasmanian Gay and Lesbian Rights Group stall still opens most Saturdays. Sign a petition, make a donation or buy a rainbow souvenir or gift from the TGLRG stall at Salamanca Market.
